Call for Presenters

Annual Women’s Conference on Saturday, April 4, 2020


The Women’s Enterprise Development Center & Putnam SCORE’s 3rd Annual Our New World Women’s Conference “Create Your Destiny, Achieve Your Dream” is seeking a range of workshop presentations for the Saturday, April 4th event to be held at the Putnam Golf Club in Mahopac, NY. 

Our target audiences include owners of small established businesses wanting to grow or accomplish a specific goal, as well as entrepreneurs interested in starting their businesses. We invite presenters to submit proposals for workshop sessions that are relevant. Each workshop will run for approximately one hour. 

The conference is a mix of empowerment and the tools to allow small business owners to “Create Your Destiny, Achieve Your Dream”, therefore, some potential topic areas for next year’s conference are: 

  • Social Media 
  • Financial Management 
  • Marketing Strategies 
  • Growing Sales 
  • How to Sell 
  • Technology that helps grow your business 
  • Dealing with gender based prejudices/obstacles 
  • Turn gender based obstacles into fabulous opportunities 
  • Advantages of being a woman owned business  
  • The successful woman executive as a world class juggler – achieving the perfect balance

Potential presenters should complete the attached form and return via email to Cynthia Marsh-Croll at by November 15, 2019. Presenters will be notified in December whether or not their proposal was accepted. This will include the scheduled time slot as well.
We regret that we are unable to offer honoraria or coverage for travel expenses to workshop presenters. However, the conference fee is waived for you and your team of presenters, and we hope you will join us for the day, including lunch. 

Plan to share your slides and other materials; our attendees appreciate referring to your ideas and take-aways. We will put all presentations on our website for attendees to view with a password protected login. If this is not acceptable please let us know and we will discuss options.
